Lots of work was being done this week to clean up the beach including moving debris that had washed up on shore and removing the sand covering beach drive that had collected due to high water on the great lakes. By the end of the week, the beach was looking great.

High-waves have dropped lots of debris on the beach.Thursday, May 4th, 2023 – The town has been moving the beach sand previously covering beach drive and spreading it evenly the waterfrom to distribute it away from the road. With the water levels falling Beach Drive is becoming usable again.Friday, May 5th, 2023 – Walking through trails near the Recplex.Saturday, May 6th, 2023 – Looking east across a freshly graded beach as the provincial park gears up for a new tourist season.
