This was an exciting week. By June 17th summer had finally arrived with kites at Beach 1 and the annual sandcastle competition.

Sunday, June 11th, 2023 – Entering the beach at Beach 6 near 50th street.
Monday, June 12th, 2023 – A noon-hour volleyball fame in full swing near 12th street
Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 – looking west from near 57th street

Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 – heading east towards Beach 6 from 57th street
Thursday, June 15th, 2023 – Looking north along a freshly-graded beach
Friday, June 16th, 2023 – Heading back to the Recplex from beach 6 along the bush trails from 43rd street
Saturday, June 17th, 2023 – Lots going down at Beach one today with a kiteshow and a sandcastle competition
Saturday, June 17th, 2023 – One of the sand castles under construction at Beach 1.
