We certainly had a dull week to kick off the new year. I don’t think we saw the sun all week with cloudy skys almost every day.
Sunday, January 1st, 2023 – Looking east on my way to Beach one. Monday, January 2nd, 2023 – The sand removed from Beach Drive near beach area one has been spread out across the beach here. It was moved by dump trucks and graded flat. Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 – Removing the sand from Beach Drive. The town intentionally let the sand reclaim Beach Drive after a few years of record high water levels on the Great Lakes. Thankfully, water levels are getting back to normal so we have our road back.Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 – Spring-like weather on January 4th.Thursday, January 5th, 2023 – Taken at 57th street where a stream exits into Georgian Bay.Friday, January 6th 2023 – No problem walking down the beach this week.
