The shore ice is still hanging on but it started to melt both from the beach and out on the other side of the berms. The water is shallow even 100 yards out, so the ice berms are sitting on sand on the lake bottom. They take a long time to disappear.
Sunday, April 3rd – Taken near beach 3. The water has thawed along the shore, but the ice berms persist offshore. Open water far in the distance.
