Another unseasonably warm week along Wasaga Beach. The upside is the the snow has melted and it’s easier to walk along the sand than snowmobile trails.
Sunday, January 10th, 2021 – look east across a warm and soggy beachTuesday, January 12th, 2021 – There is now a nice strip of beach sand making the beach to walk down again,Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 – waves at the edge of the ice are starting to form ice berms.Thursday, January 14th, 2021 – walk west towards beach one. Blue tarps protecting properties from sand blown by northwest winds.Saturday, January 16th, 2021 – Heading towards beach one on a beautiful sunny day. It feels like March weather.
