Several walks down the west end of the beach this week.
Sunday, February 20th, 2022 – This was my favorite picture of the week. A creative snow sculpture on the bush trail between Shore Lane and the Recplex. Monday, February 21st, 2022 – Looking east from near 57th street. The ridge of dirty ice was easier to walk on than the snow so most of the foot traffic was on this trail.Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 – Open water out beyond the ice berms. The bay did not reliably freeze solid all winter this year.Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 – Approaching beach one heading east. The water level is down dramatically from last year at this time.Thursday, February 24th, 2022 – Out on the ice looking across the bay. You can see a sheen of ice on the water causing the ski hills at Blue Mountain to show up as a reflection.Friday, February 25th, 2022 – Looking east along Shore Lane from 16 street.Saturday, February 26th, 2022 – Taken near 45th street early in the evening.
