This week we took advantage of a cool cloudy day on Sunday to hit the ATV trails near Phelpston. Thanks to my brother Don and nephew Darby for including me in their off-road adventure.
Sunday, September 4th, 2022 – I didn’t own a helmet, so this was my first time out with the new helmet I purchased from Amazon. I was sure glad I had it – 50 km/h doesn’t sound very fast but you’re glad for the helmet when you’re racing through narrow trails in the bush. Don has the coolest toys for sure.Monday, September 5th, 2022 – Back to business walking down beach one on an overcast Monday. I was carrying an umbrella but managed to dodge the rain.Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 – It’s crazy how the nicest days are often in September, but nobody is here because school is back in session.Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 – After months of grading, this is probably the best the beach has looked all year. What a difference from two years ago when the water levels were at a record high.Saturday, September 10th, 2022 – Heavy equipment leaving its mark look east towards the main beach.
