The week started out with rain, but the sun returned midweek. We had brisk northwest winds and cool temperatures Monday and Tuesday.
Sunday, August 18th, 2024 – Looking west across the trails at beach area 5Monday, August 19th, 2024 – We had northwest winds for several days straight. Looking down at the beach from the beach area 5 waterfront.Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 – Whenever there is a northwest wind, you are sure to fund kite sailors concentrated at beach area 6. While some sailors prefer the main beach, beach 6 is reserved for wind surfers and kite sailors.Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 – An abandoned sand castle I happened across walking down a quiet part of the beach.Friday, August 23rd, 2024 – Free spirit tours unloading kayaks for an event down at beach area 5.Saturday, August 24th, 2024 – A week after packing up un Sydney, the moving truck arrived moving my mother-in-law into Wasaga Meadows at the east end of Wasaga Beach.
