January 2020 has been warm. Lots of days above freezing. This makes walking down the beach challenging as I need to deal with water, slush, and dodgy ice conditions.  I shifted me walks to early morning when the temperatures were still below freezing so I had better conditions.

January 26th, 2020 – Looking across the bay on an unseasonably warm Sunday morning walking through slush along the beach.
Monday, January 27th, 2020 – Looking east towards beach one from near 18th street.
Monday, January 27th, 2020 – Someone built awesome snowmen along the beach near 13the street. Very cool.
Friday, January 31st – more of the same this week I’m afraid. Little change in the ice conditions.
Saturday, February 1st, 2020 – lonely picnic tables along the beach 2 boardwalk
