I think we may be among the few beneficiaries of climate change here on South Georgian Bay (this year at least). We need some warmer weather!
We had a very slow spring. As of late June, the waters of Georgian Bay were 3-5 degrees below normal. Even on a warm day, walking down the beach feels like there is a freezer door wide open to the north. The cold air off the lake is awesome on hot days but not great for swimming.
